Part Time Job Opportunity

GreenFuels Incorporated, a San Francisco-based consulting firm engaged in alternative energy, transportation, utilities engineering, public affairs, and community resiliency planning is seeking candidates for a part-time position with our company. We provide specialized assistance to businesses, non-profit organizations, and government agencies to develop resilient and sustainable solutions to the challenges of the modern urban environment. This position will focus on the Central Subway as well as other environmentally friendly community development efforts.

We are seeking candidates who can provide strong administrative support on a part-time basis, but with the desire to learn other skills, and the successful candidate who performs exceptionally will be considered for full time employment, with the opportunity to transition into a professional position, in the future.
<br>
<br>
Serious candidates for this position will have:
<br>
<br>
1. A minimum of two years of verifiable work experience in an administrative position such as a secretary or administrative assistant, or two years of college education in an accredited community college or a 4-year college or university;
<br>
2. Excellent computer skills in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs, with the ability to learn and master Dabble Database or other database programs;
<br>
3. Working knowledge or experience in the use of Quickbooks or another bookkeeping system, as well as experience with payroll, invoicing, and general bookkeeping is highly desirable;
<br>
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English is a requirement; bilingual ability will be highly desirable;
<br>
5. Excellent organizational skills to plan, schedule, publicize and conduct meetings, seminars, and workshops;
<br>
6. Ability to work under pressure, demanding schedules, and deadlines;
<br>
7. Flexibility and the ability to adjust to a dynamic and fluid project work environment;
<br>
8. Possession of a valid California Driver’s License;
<br>
9. Willingness to learn new skills.

The successful candidate will be assigned to the following tasks:
<br>
<br>
1) Assist in the planning and development of a small business outreach program;
<br>
2) Assist in implementation of small business outreach program;
<br>
3) Assist in developing, populating, and maintaining a small business database;
<br>
4) Assist in the planning and holding of workshops and training seminars, as well as other public meetings;
<br>
5) Creation of weekly and monthly reports, contact and mailing lists, and other reports as necessary;
<br>
6) Preparing letters, emails, and other documents for targeted as well as mass distribution of pertinent information;
<br>
7) Assist in generating monthly invoices and payroll;
<br>
Performing general bookkeeping duties and preparing annual statements;
<br>
9) Perform other duties and tasks as required.
<br>
<br>
This is a part-time position that will involve approximately 10 - 15 hours per week and the pay scale for this position ranges from $12.50 per hour to $20.00 per hour, depending on the education, training, and skill level of the selected candidate.
