Seeking qualified Events Coordinator/Admin Assistant with strong project organization and interpersonal skills and experience with planning and implementing events to work with growing organization devoted to Wisdom Healing Qigong. Work involves planning, publicity, and some onsite coordination for events and workshops, and assisting Qigong Master and Program Director with other projects.

Good opportunity for someone skilled at handling details as well as grasping big picture/vision, and who can be effective within fast paced work environment undergoing change and expansion.

<br>
Ideal candidate works well on multiple levels: 1) independently; 2) assisting Qigong Master and Program Director; 3) as part of a larger team. Work will be at home and occasionally travel to meetings/events in Petaluma, San Rafael and other bay area locations. Must be available for occasional weekend work, and have car, computer, and high speed connection. Part-time to start and soon will become full time position.

Title: Event Coordinator/Administrative Assistant
<br>
Reports to: Program Director
<br>

Position Summary
<br>
• Coordinate all logistical aspects of Chi Healing Center workshops and events
<br>
• Provide customer support for Chi Healing Center clients
<br>
• Provide administrative support to the Program Director and Executive Director
<br>
<br>
Essential Responsibilities
<br>
<br>
Event Coordination
<br>
• Assist Program Director with event planning and strategy
<br>
• Reserve event space
<br>
• Apply for CEU accreditation
<br>
• Support event marketing including flyer printing and distribution, emails and other promotional activities
<br>
• Coordinate pre-event registration and confirmation
<br>
• Order and ship materials
<br>
• Coordinate event volunteers
<br>
• Provide onsite event support including registration, payment, waiver forms, and teacher support
<br>
• Conduct post-event activities including processing orders, storing materials, data entry, CEU certificates
<br>
• Assist with the development of efficient processes for events coordination
<br>
<br>
Customer Service and Administrative
<br>
• Answer Chi Healing center phone and emails. Handle questions/issues directly with clients or forward to appropriate party
<br>
• Provide sales and marketing support as directed by the Program Director
<br>
• Perform administrative duties such as: scheduling appointments, data entry, writing letters, copies, faxing, shipping, meeting minutes
<br>

Qualifications
<br>
• Event coordination and administrative experience
<br>
• Excellent computer skills in word, excel and online
<br>
• Customer service/phone skills
<br>
• Detail-oriented and organized
<br>
• Able to manage own projects with minimal supervision
<br>
• Team-oriented
<br>
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
<br>
• Interest and affinity for alternative healing
<br>
• Knowledge of the alternative healing field and marketplace
<br>
<br>
Hours: 25+ hours per week to start. Plus some additional hours during events/workshops.
<br>
Salary: Hourly position. $25/hr+ depending on experience
<br>
