Work part-time as a bookkeeper for a local interior design firm in Danville, CA. Position will start at 15-20 hours per week and may lead to more hours. Pay is $25-35/hour depending on experience. Firm uses a Web based industry accounting program – Studio Webware. Job responsibilities include:
· Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

· Entering credit card transactions

· Past due invoice follow-up

· Bank Deposits

· Reconciling bank and credit card statements

· Quarterly sales tax returns

· Creating monthly financial reports and performing some analysis

· Reviewing the books for accuracy on a regular basis

Candidate must have:
· At least 5 years strong bookkeeping/accounting experience (CPA is not required, however, some formal accounting training is a plus)

· Team player

· Customer Service skills

· Industry experience and/or experience with Studio Webware is a plus

· Must be able to quickly learn new program

I am looking for an Apprentice who is interested in learning about Commercial Real Estate Finance, Insurance, and Securities Sales. Your time and hours would be your own to start, and you would have to demonstrate a drive to learn the profession, and demonstrate how well you can do the job. Your reward would be a permanent salaried job, which you could work into either a partnership, or part ownership in a subsidiary corporation or LLC.

The Primary position would be for a Commercial mortgage lender, making commercial real estate loans in all 50 States, from $500,000 to $$100 million dollars. You would be taught sales, underwriting, and processing, and for each loan you help to successfully close you earn a $1000 commission. I could give you a new loan every other day. You would be taught to visit and inspect the properties, and meet with the owners. In many cases, we service the loans, and also handle collections. In other words, you are taught the business. After 30 to 60 days, you would be evaluated and go on a salary plus commissions. I will pay for your licensing. If you are good, you can make $4-6,000 a month on commissions. If you are really good, you could make $10 to $20,000 a month. In the beginning, you could even work at home, but must have a computer and connected to the Internet. We have web conferences, and meetings daily

The Secondary position would be for insurance sales, for an insurance brokerage. I will teach you how to sell, and to obtain your Securities Licenses, and well as your insurance licenses. If you are the right person, I will pay for your training, and licensing. You have to demonstrate a gift of marketing, and to sell both life and securities products. You are on commission in the beginning, and can build to be part owner, or I would finance your own branch office. If you are a super sales person, this job is for you.

You must have a vehicle, and be willing to commute locally. Any travel outside the area would be paid for by the company. You must be computer literate, understand mathematics, know Word, Excel, and how to handle spread sheets. A legal background is a help, but not necessary. The greatest requirement is common sense, and Drive. You must present yourself well, but most of the time you will be either on the computer or on the phone.
