Exciting start up looking for C++ Gaming Programmer (SF / Philadelphia)
Exciting start up is looking to contract a C++ programmer. The goal is to contract during initial developing time but eventually have this person lead a larger group of programmers and develop into a senior position with ownership equity. Please see qualifications below. Facial recognition and graphics experience is a HUGE plus. Target industry is professional sports and clients are waiting!
Requirements:
– Passionate about building GREAT and STABLE software
-Unity 3D
– video game development
– ability to work with API’s and SDK’s such as faceAPI and faceDSK (important)
– social network api sdks
– Microsoft Kinect development experience and understanding
– Fully Proficient in C++ (4 to 6+ years of actively programming with C++)
– Experience in a Windows based environment (currently all of our deployed systems are Windows 7 Ultimate x64)
– Familiar with OOD principles
– Eagle eye for UI detail
– Ability to build software that looks great, and also runs efficiently
– Creative problem solver – outside of the box thinker
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to multi-task
– Ability to work in a fast paced environment
– Familiar w/ SDLC but also open to the Agile development process with fast changing client requirements
– Team Player and ability to work well in groups
– Working knowledge of SVN
– Excellent with time management and prioritization of tasks
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
– Experience with C#, java
– Experience with Qt
– Experience with C#
– Experience with Win32 GUI programming
– Web-application coding (perl/php/html/
javascript) – any additional languages are a big plus
– Electrical Engineering
– Graphical Design
– OpenFrame Works
– Interactive camera based solutions
– iPhone Application Development
– Touchscreen solutions
– IR experience
– LASER Experience
– Firm understanding of TCP/IP/SSL and other standard networking protocols
– Image Analysis
– CUDA and NVidia SLI
