Outreach Consultant for Educational Services Company $50 hour (Bay Area Travel Required)
Position: Outreach Consultant

Role: Provide targeted outreach and development to increase client and tutor base. Attend recruitment events, make cold calls, build relationships with schools and clients, make presentations, and manage social media (Facebook, etc).
Rate: $50 per hour ($25 per hour for Driving Time); Bonus potential!
Classification: Contractor (1099) —
Approximately 20 Hours per week (14 hrs. regular rate and 6 hrs. driving rate)
10 Months per year — No hours: 6/25-7/31 (summer), Thanksgiving Week, 2 Winter Holiday Weeks
Schedule: Flexible. Must be able to attend evening and weekend events.

Job Description:
The Outreach Consultant (OC) is a new contract. The OC will be responsible for recruiting tutors and increasing the company’s client base. The OC must be an extroverted people person capable of networking with parents and educators. The OC will report to the CEO. We require the utmost professionalism, excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, organizational skills, and attention to detail. The OC is self-motivated and can easily “switch gears” and multi-task on a daily basis.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 1-2 years work experience in Sales/Outreach/Development
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Partnership building and interpersonal skills
• Experience in Education industry a plus
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Google Doc/Apps
• Experience using Social Media (e.g Facebook, LinkedIn, etc) and CRM software
Skills/Experience:
• Strong organization skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Exceptional work ethic and problem-solving abilities
• Must be a self-starter who shows initiative and is able to work autonomously
• Knowledge of current trends in education is a plus
• Sales experience preferred
